Register & Apply for the NCLEX Exam through this four-step process:

STEP 1. Apply for your licensure through the nursing regulatory body(NRB). Choose the location in which you desire to practice from the NRB.

  • If you are looking to get licensed in the United States, visit the NRB site here - U.S. Member Areas.
    • Select the state or location in which you would like to get licensed.
    • Under Website, select "visit member website".
  • If you are looking to get licensed outside of the US, visit the NRB site here and choose Associate Member or Exam User Member.

STEP 3. Once you've completed steps 1-2, move on to step 3. As soon as the nursing regulatory body (NRB) declares you eligible, you will receive the Authorization to Test (ATT) via the email you provided when registering.

  • You must have your ATT email in order to schedule an appointment to take the NCLEX exam.
  • The ATT is valid for a period of time, depending on the NRB, but the average length is 90 days

  • STEP 4. Once you've received your ATT via the email you provided when registering, move on to step 4. Schedule your NCLEX exam test date. Scheduling can be completed via the internet or telephone.

  • Internet Scheduling
    • Visit the Pearson VUE website
    • Locate the toolbar on the right-hand side of the screen.
    • There you will have the option to "sign-in" or "register".
    • Along the same toolbar, you will see "find test center". Use this option to locate a test center near you.
